Residential and dementia care for 21 residents, delivered with kindness, dignity and respect.
Llandaff House sits in Llangennech, a small village in the Llanelli area of Carmarthenshire.
The village has a lot to offer our residents — local shops, a chemist, restaurants, a lively community centre with cafe and library, a park with bowling, and the rugby club at the end of Mwrwg Road where everyone is always welcome.
We have both Church and Chapels nearby, and a minister visits Llandaff House monthly for services.
We would like every resident to truly think of Llandaff House as their home — and when they are coming towards the end of life, to be reassured we will do everything we possibly can to maintain their choices, dignity and respect.

We support residents through change — physical, emotional, cognitive — while keeping their independence and identity at the centre of everything we do.
Our residents are supported to maintain as independent a life as they physically, emotionally and mentally can. We adapt our service around them — never the other way round.
We support residents with dementia of varying stages. With joint support from visiting professionals, we also care for Parkinson's, Diabetes, Cancer, heart conditions, arthritis and more.
We have a variety of equipment to support physical challenges — hoists, slide sheets, and Sara Steady — and work closely with visiting health professionals to meet every need.

Our Activities Co-ordinator plans a monthly programme of activities and events — reminiscence groups (especially rewarding for residents with dementia), art, cooking, quizzes, games and puzzles, spa days, and visiting entertainers.
Our hairdresser visits every Tuesday as part of our weekly spa day, and our activities co-ordinator ensures residents are pampered with foot spas, manicures and make-up for those who'd like to take part. A chiropodist visits every 6–8 weeks.
“The environment was safe, secure and well-maintained. People spoke positively about the care they receive, describing staff as nice and noting they receive kind and caring support.”— Care Inspectorate Wales, December 2024
